HR Specialist (With focus on L&D, Comp & Ben)
As an HR Specialist you serve as an advisor and expert on best practices within the following domains:
- Performance management, learning, employee development and coaching initiatives:
- Performs planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating organizational and personal development programs;
- Serves as point-of-contact for employee development and learning programs;
- Counsels managers and employees on selecting appropriate programs to meet individuals’ needs;>
- Administers and coordinates logistical efforts related to employee development and learning programs. Maintains training and development data and metrics.
- You partner with line management to ensure that maximum levels of customer satisfaction are achieved by using human capital as a strategic resource.
- Compensation & Benefits, management of the appraisal process:
- You advise business managers on all sorts of compensation topics;
- You select, implement and evaluate compensation and reward programs that maximize organizational performance;
- You manage salary reviews, increases and bonus payments and oversee compensation reports and recommendations;
- You set strategic direction for the employee benefits programs (e.g., medical, group life, retirement, disability, etc.)
- Communication of the benefit plan provisions to members of the organization.
- Identifies potential benefit plan providers; negotiates rates and claims procedures. Manages provider relationships.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on benefits legislation and regulations.
- Outsourcing projects
- You actively participate in upcoming outsourcing projects; cost calculations, presentations towards customer and new employees, integration and follow-up of new employees,…
- You implement and monitor Hr policies and procedures.
- You act as primary contact person for all related HR matters with commercial line management.
Profile:
- You have a Masters degree and minimum 5 years experience in one of these domains and at least a good knowledge of the other fields;
- You have experience in HR process and project management;
- You effectively communicate in line with the organization’s strategy and needs;
- You have a deep understanding of the L&D needs, the Comp & Ben structure within the Consulting Sector;
- You are able to deliver expertise support in these matters for all levels in the company;
- You are proactive and possess strong communication skills;
- You are able to establish professional relationships with all levels of the organization;
- You are a team player with a positive and entrepreneurial attitude;
- You have very strong interpersonal skills ;
- You are fluent in written and spoken of Dutch, French and English;
- You have practical knowledge of HR systems;
- You have a good knowledge of the Belgian legislation;
- MS Office has no secrets for you;
- You possess very good writing and presentation skills.
