Senior Business Consultant Consultative Sales
As a Senior Business Consultant Consultative Sales, you are responsible for the business-development and delivery of projects within the Industry portfolio: Manufacturing Supply Chain Management, Pharma, High Tech, Consumer goods, Process Industry, Retail). Our approach is industry-based and covers all service offerings (Business Process Reengineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance & Corporate Performance Management, ERP, CRM, ao.).
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and assure add on business through formal project change control, strong delivery skills and excellent client relationships.
- Account Management and bid management for the key accounts.
- Assist in creating strategies to win business in new markets and current accounts.
- Develop contacts with customers, develop business relations and explore business opportunities.
- Develop a sales strategy that delivers and strengthens relationships with decision makers.
Project /program Management
- Act as a knowledgeable advisor towards C-level clients on business process optimization in view of their go to the market strategy.
- Follow up of the project delivery and keep close contact with decision makers.
- Ensure proper start up of the projects and risk management while supporting the key people on the projects.
- Lead multiple teams, be the driving force in leading others, understand and manage critical success factors.
People management
- Able to manage teams of up to 25 people.
- Active involvement in the hiring, planning, evaluation and coaching of the different consulting teams.
Competence and organizational development
- Identify new competencies and services to be developed to improve our service offering and market presence.
- Further develop the service line, network within CSC regionally and internationally to develop a global service offering to the major companies in Belgium.
Profile
- You have at least 8 years successful experience in consulting or the industry and are familiar with designing, aligning and optimizing business processes in order to ensure an optimal end-client service.
- Strong believe in the business potential and proven business development skills and client empathy.
- You are action oriented, results driven and have a take charge attitude.
- A sound understanding on the industry specific processes and on how the business models work, interact and impact the clients’ business.
- Able to lead sales and delivery activities, strong business case development and closing skills.
- Good people management abilities, strong organizational and operational planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional image.
- Pro-active and entrepreneurial attitude with a “can do” attitude in meeting challenges.

- Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
